i am having the hardest time coming up with the words to describe this one! the idea was that this labradorite teardrop pendant has a bit of a lopsided, almost angular shape that reminded me of these kind of twisted diamond shaped chain links. the pendant is also more on the green side than most of my other teardrop pendants, which i paired with green 8mm labradorite beads. finally i added my more usual 6mm labradorite beads as well.

a couple things i do want to note, the green labradorite beads tend to have a rougher duller overall look, but have some especially lovely rainbow flash in some. i also am unsure if the very top tip of the pendant bead chipped, it does seem to be slightly less polished, but isn’t sharp or anything, and i didn’t even notice until i’d already finished the necklace honestly. the price will reflect these things as well though.

this is also another pendant where i really struggled over which side to make the “front”! of course you can wear it whichever way you like anyway. the “back” of this one has such lovely flash, it almost reminds me of a river and really adds to the organic shapes and tones. but both sides are beautiful of course.
