6mm round gemstone options
Each stone varies especially between batches/orders, I do my best to at least match or improve the quality of stone I order over time, depending on availability and budget (and ability to use them in existing designs without raising prices). Quality grade information is taken from the gemstone sellers, I cannot personally verify them.
Moonstone: white to clear with blue or rainbow flash, occasionally more unique flash like orange; AAA quality
Labradorite: blue to green toned translucent grey, with flash that can range from orange or yellow to blue; AAA quality
Sunstone: slightly dusty orange with a range of saturation, with sparkle and chatoyance; AAA quality
Amethyst: deep purple, occasionally translucent or with some white quartz stripes; AA quality
Rose Quartz: pale pink, current batch is a bit more opaque but some have more translucent spots, A quality
Sodalite: generally more of a denim colored blue, ranges from lighter to darker, some with white stripes and usually with chatoyance; quality grade unknown
Lapis Lazuli: vibrant deep blue, darker than sodalite, usually with pyrite flecks; quality grade unknown
Kyanite: widest range of shades from nearly white to grey, light to dark blue, some more green, red, or brown, usually with chatoyance; quality grade unknown
Red Tiger’s Eye: dark red toned brown, similar to cherry wood color, tiger’s eye chatoyance; AA quality
Onyx: deep solid black stone; AAA quality (new batch December 2022)
Carnelian: vibrant saturated orange, some range from almost white to yellow, mostly medium or deep orange, occasionally color variation within the same bead, generally translucent; A quality
Rainbow Obsidian: unique deep black natural volcanic glass with subtle muted colorful flash, most often kind of olive green colored but ranges, AAA quality
Garnet: very deep rich red, more on the opaque side; AA quality
